Like food and water, sleep is essential to us. Sometimes in your life you may have difficulty sleeping, many people do, anyone can suffer from insomnia.

Sleep problems are surprisingly common, while it is not an illness and is in no way life-threatening, insomnia can be distressing, exhausting, depressing and very frustrating.

More importantly, Sleeplessness weakens the immune system and effects the way we think, so for emotional wellbeing, good sleep is essential.

There are many reasons why people have periods of insomnia, including:

  • Depression

  • Anxiety and Stress

  • The voice in your head chattering away

  • Poor lifestyle choices
