Learn to love yourself and live with more self respect

Someone once said the secret of happiness is having someone to love, something to do and something to look forward to. There’s probably some truth in this, although it doesn’t mean you have to have an adoring partner, a high-powered job and a world cruise coming up to enjoy life.

The ’someone to love’ could be a friend, relative or pet, and the ’something to do’ and ’something to look forward to’ could be just about anything you enjoy.

But even if you have those three ’something’s they won’t sit well if you don’t love and respect yourself. In my experience, it is so true when people say if you can’t love yourself then you can’t truly allow others to love you.

When working with me, we will slowly dispel some of the myths that you have about yourself, unconscious beliefs that were formed a long time ago about who you think you are and what you think you can and can’t do. By peeling back some of the layers we can gently uncover the real you (normally a good, kind person) and then we start the process of re-engaging with yourself, speaking to yourself with love and integrity, putting yourself first where appropriate and updating those old self limiting beliefs that used to hold you back.

It’s not an easy process and there is always a box of tissues close at hand, I teach you how your mind works and the right therapeutic interventions to get new responses, new emotional control and a new sense of who you are and what you want from life – and how loving yourself more can release so many positive emotions.

There is homework too! These changes don’t happen overnight, but they are possible with the right guidance and the right tools. I make available a whole range of worksheets and recordings to listen to that will both relax and educate your unconscious and foster new responses and feelings within yourself.
